How We Rate

How we rate casinos and bookmakers

Every brand on Casinos 123 goes through the same checklist before it earns a score. We do not rank sites by how much they pay us, and an affiliate partnership never changes a rating. Here is exactly what we look at.

Our five rating criteria

Each review is scored from 0 to 10 across five areas, and the final number is the weighted average of those scores:

  • Bonuses — the real value of the welcome offer and ongoing promotions, with a close read of the wagering terms.
  • Payouts — withdrawal speed, limits and how smooth the cash-out process is in practice.
  • Games and lines — the size and quality of the games library, or the depth of the betting line for bookmakers.
  • Support — how quickly and usefully customer support answers across chat, email and phone.
  • Reliability — licensing, security, reputation and how the brand handles disputes.

How we test

Where we can, we register an account, verify it, make a deposit and request a withdrawal. We check the licence on the regulator’s register, read the bonus rules in full and note anything that might surprise a new player. Scores are reviewed regularly and updated when terms change.

Editorial independence

Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if you sign up through them. That has no effect on our scores or on what we write. If a brand falls short, the review says so plainly.
